Meet Aren, spiritual gangster turned entrepreneur, philanthropist and transformational coach.
Inspired by Eat, Pray Love he came to Ubud to escape a life as a gangster and drug abuser entangled in organised crime in Vancouver, Canada.
When he arrived in Ubud in Bali he tells me he “traded Hennessy shots for wheatgrass, and lines in the club bathroom for cacao ceremonies”.
Since coming to Bali in 2016, he’s launched 4 businesses in 4 years and raised tens of thousands of dollars every year for underprivileged and mentally disabled Balinese children.
He’s the founder of Karma House Bali, Conscious Arts Tattoos, and a founding partner in YogiLab and UluLife.
This is a conversation that dives deep in to a transformed life and the way in which he navigated through the associated challenges. For anyone looking to change their circumstances, this is for you.
