ENTREPRENEUR COACHING AND MENTORING FOR OWNER-OPERATORS

Entrepreneur coaching for
people who built the
thing themselves.

You started it, you grew it, and it still runs on you. Let’s work out what the next chapter actually looks like.

Building it was never the hard part

Founders are rarely short of drive, ideas or willingness to work.

What is harder is noticing when the business has outgrown the version of you that built it.

The instincts that got it off the ground start working against you. Speed becomes impatience. Ownership becomes control. Ambition becomes another year of not stopping.

You keep going, because that is what you have always done.

From the outside it reads as success.

From where you are sitting, it can feel like running harder to stay in the same place.

That’s usually where I come in.

You Built It to Get Free. So Why Does It Feel Like the Opposite?

Most people start a business to get more control over their time, their income and their life. Then the business grows and quietly takes all three back.

Revenue is up. The team is bigger. And you are more tied in than you were at half the size.

You don’t need another growth tactic, another system, or someone telling you to work on the business rather than in it.

You need honest input from someone who has actually built and sold businesses, and the space to decide what you are really doing this for.

That’s where I come in.

My role isn’t to hand you a plan. It’s to help you see what being this close to it makes impossible to see, so you can make sharper calls about growth, money, people and your own involvement.

Not by pushing harder.

By getting out of your own way.

I’ve Built It From Nothing Too.

I’ve started businesses from nothing, grown them, employed people, and sold them. I’ve spent the last two decades working alongside entrepreneurs doing the same.

From the outside, things often looked successful. Inside, it was a different story.

The pressure never fully switched off. Decisions carried weight. Life became increasingly full, but not always increasingly fulfilling.

The biggest lesson I learned was this: you can build something valuable and still end up working for it.

You can hit the numbers you once wrote down as the dream and feel strangely flat when you get there. You can create something impressive and quietly lose sight of why you wanted it.

That’s where this work begins.

My role isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to help you see clearly, reconnect with what’s true for you, and remove what’s getting in the way so you can move forward with confidence.

Not by becoming somebody else. By becoming more of who you already are.

What founders bring to this work

These are the things entrepreneurs tend to arrive with:

  • A business that grew faster than your role in it
  • Working every hour and still feeling behind
  • Wanting to grow, without signing up for another five years like the last one
  • Not knowing whether to scale, sell, or step back
  • Money coming in, without much of it reaching your life
  • Losing the appetite you used to have for it
  • Chasing the next idea instead of finishing this one
  • Being the only person who really cares how it goes
  • A business and an identity that have become the same thing
  • Success that arrived without the freedom meant to come with it
  • Big decisions made alone, at speed, with everything riding on them
  • Knowing there is another level, without a clear route to it

You don't need all of these to be true.

But if several of them are, it usually means the business has moved on and the way you are running it hasn't caught up yet.

What Entrepreneurs Tend to Say a Few Months In

  • Decisions get made in days rather than circled for weeks
  • The senior team starts carrying things you used to quietly take back
  • The conversations you had been avoiding actually happen
  • You stop being the single point of failure on everything urgent
  • You can be away from the business without it stalling
  • More of your week goes on work only you can do
  • You trust your own judgement again
  • The pressure is still there, but it stops being carried alone
  • Being at home stops meaning still being at work

Here’s How We Can Work Together

Entrepreneur coaching isn’t one fixed format. These are the three ways I currently work with founders, depending on what the situation calls for.

All of it is delivered online, so it works wherever you and your business are based.

If what you’re carrying is mainly about leading the company and the team, see executive and leadership coaching. For broader work across both business and life, see private coaching.

Option 1

Strategic Consultation

One focused session for a founder facing a decision that will shape the next few years.

We take a dedicated morning or afternoon and go properly into it: whether to scale, what to stop doing, how to fund the next move, or whether this is still the business you want to be running.

Ideal when the question is specific, the timing is now, and you want an experienced outside read before you commit to anything longer.

Option 2

Monthly Support

A regular working rhythm for founders in a period of real growth or real change.

We meet on a set cadence and work through what is actually in front of you that month: the numbers, the people, the opportunities you are weighing up, and the parts of it you are carrying quietly.

Ideal if you want consistent perspective from someone who has built and sold businesses, and somewhere to think that isn’t your team, your partner, or your own head at 2am.

Option 3

All-In Partnership

The closest way I work with a founder, for people whose business, team and life are all fully loaded at the same time.

We meet regularly and stay in contact in between, so decisions get handled when they land rather than waiting for the next scheduled call. Difficult weeks get caught early.

Ideal if the business is significant enough that a slow or lonely decision is expensive, and you want someone genuinely alongside you rather than on a monthly call.

Let’s Discuss What Fits Best

Ready to Build It Differently?

Founders who do this work tend to describe the same shift. The business gets easier to run. The decisions get cleaner. The reason you started it becomes visible again.

The ambition doesn’t go anywhere. It just stops costing you everything else.

Sometimes one conversation is enough to unstick something you’ve been circling for months. Sometimes it’s the start of longer work. We begin by talking it through, with no expectation either way.

Step 1

Apply

Share a little about where you’re at and what you’d like support with.

This helps me understand your situation before we speak.

If it feels like there may be a fit, my team will arrange a private compatibility call.

Step 2

Compatibility Call

This isn’t a sales call.

It’s a relaxed, honest conversation to see whether working together makes sense.

We’ll talk through what’s happening for you, what you’re looking for, and whether I’m the right person to support you. If I am, I’ll explain the options clearly and answer any questions you have.

Step 3

Decide and Move Forward

If it feels aligned on both sides, we’ll agree the next steps and begin our work together.

If not, I’ll point you toward other people or resources that may be a better fit. Either way, you’ll leave the conversation with more clarity than you arrived with.
